I am a mother of two children. Since February 2015 I have been supporting management and the padagogical head here in our offices. I am pleased to be a part of the Global Village team! My work is manifolded and provides lots of diversity. I am looking forward to a good working relationship with you.

I am a mother of three children and since 2014 I am here at Global Village. I have been active in this field as a state qualified teacher since 2001. It is important to me that the parents and children feel at home here at Global Village. For me stimulating and supporting children means letting them grow and creating a place where they can play and learn. I am looking forward to good working relationship with you!

Shanice
Hello my name is Shanice. In summer 2016 I finished my education as a Kindergarten-Teacher. After that I became an Au Pair in the U.S.(California) and lived almost two years there. When I came back to Germany I started working in a Kindergarten right away where I had been „Lead-Teacher“ of my group. Now I’m member of Team Global Village and I’m excited to see children including two languages in their daily routine. My interests are in sport/movement, communication, organization and photography.

I am responsible for the intercultural integration of the children at Global Village, and have been working here since 2013 as assistant to the nursery school teachers. I am glad to be a part of the Global Village team and have great joy in accompanying and supporting children on their path. I am looking forward to a good working relationship with you.

Minura
I was born and grew up in Baku (Azerbaijan) and have been living in Germany for several years. In addition to German, I am also fluent in Turkish and Russian. In Baku I studied social pedagogy and then worked in a primary school for two years. I came to Germany to improve my language skills and to get to know cultural life. In the meantime, I feel very integrated and enjoy working in the Global Village team.

Hi, I am Lorna and am responsible for the English language development and the preschool work with your children at Global Village. I am a trained primary school teacher and have teaching experience with children ranging in age from 2 to 12 years. I am looking forward to this new challenge in working here at Global Village.

Lisa
My name is Lisa and I am happy to be a kindergarten teacher at Global Village, working with your children and having a wonderful time at kindergarten. During my training, I worked with children from 1 to 8 years. I speak fluent English. It is essential to treat children with respect, kindness and to be supportive in their kindergarten life. I have a passion for music. I love to sing and I play the guitar and the Ukulele. Additionally, I love to be in nature and it is important to me that the children learn to conserve and protect our environment.

My name is Jumana. Since 2012 I’m working in kindergartens. I’m a certified kindergarten teacher. I am a part of Global Village since 2015 and I love everything about this place. I enjoy the pedagogical work on a daily basis and I think that it´s highly important to have enthusiastic people around our kids to teach and surround them. I love sports and any kind of physical activities and I love to be creative. I’m looking forward to an atmosphere of cooperation with you as a parent and the creation of wonderful memories for your kid.

I am Julia and I am working alongside the children as a trainee since 2020. I had already done my voluntary social year. It is always a pleasure to be with new children and to get to know their interests. I also grew up bilingual and I speak German and English fluently. I am happy to be a part of the Global Village team and to be working with the team, with the parents and of course the children.

Hello everyone, my name is Jenniffer and I came from the sunny Caribbean isles of Trinidad and Tobago. I am an english native speaker. I am a state qualified nursery teacher since 2009 and worked in two bilingual kindergartens in the past 15 years. I feel honoured to be part of the Global village team and look forward to spending the following years growing and experiencing new and wonderful things with your children.

I have been teaching at Global Village since March 2015 with the focus on English language development. My last 8 years of teaching was at a bilingual day care centre in Wilmersdorf Berlin. I am glad to be a part of the Global Village team and hope to have a good working relationship with you!

I began my part-time training program in Childhood Education in Global Village and will start in September 2019 my studies at an institute. I am a very open-hearted, patient and happy person and always had the greatest wish to work with children. I am very proud to be a part of the Global Village team and I am happy to get to learn lots.

I am Native English Speaker. I am also fluent in Spanish and speak conversational German as well. I am from Boston, Massachusetts and have lived in Berlin almost 12 years and have learned to love this city and enjoy it`s diversity! I have two kids of my own who I am also raising bi-lingual since it’s an important skill to have. I look forward to working with you as parents, the team and finding creative ways to make learning fun and interesting for the kids.

My name is Rachel and I am from the USA (Texas) and I’ve been living in Berlin since 2019. While studying for my Masters of Fine Arts in theatre I worked as a nanny and an au pair. I’ve always had a passion for childcare which is why I am excited to have joined the Global Village team as a bilingual teacher. I like to speak, sing and read with the children in my native language, English, and encourage their imaginations and creativity to grow.

Hi! I am Mirela and I am a mama of one child. I was born in Bijeljina, Bosnia and grew up in Prince Edward Island, Canada. My profession in Canada is Paralegal but this is not recognized in Germany. This was a sign, for me, to learn something new and this path brought me to Global Village Kindergarten. I am happy to be a part of the Global Village team and to have a lovely time in kindergarten together.

In 2008 I completed my studies successfully to become a state qualified kindergarten teacher. My wish is to achieve well-grounded relationships with the children. This will be the foundation which will accompany the children in a long-lasting und thorough advancement in their development. One of my main interests in the daily work with the children is the language enchargement. To facilitate a stimulating speech environment, so that they can construct their own worlds with the help of language. Now I am very happy as a part of Global Village, to be able to accompany the children on their journey educationally, with a listening ear, an open mind and a good heart.

Hello, my name is Alica, I have been a trained social assistant since 2021 and I am in the training to become a kindergarten teacher since 2023. I am happy to be able to complete these here in the Global Village Kindergarten and to be part of the team. Since I love working with children, I am happy to be able to accompany them on their way.

My birth name is Ioanna, but I am referred to as Jo. I was born in Melbourne Australia, with a Greek background. I then moved to Sydney were I studied Fine Arts, Jewellery & Object design and Social Work and started working with children. I have been in Berlin for roughly four years now, amongst other things, I got involved in working at a Kindergarten. I am creative enthusiastic and energetic with a positive attitude. I am delighted to be given the opportunity to get to know and work with the children and everyone involved. Looking forward to meeting everybody.

My Name is Vanessa and I’m working as a teacher since 2 years. My goal is to encourage the independence of the children und to strengthen their confidence. I’m creative, I love singing with the children and I try my best to create a stimulating environment for them to maintain their curiosity. After I was in the US for a few months, I am now happy to be a part of the Global Village Team. I’m looking forward to accompany your children on the world trip through our House and to be a daily support for them.
